Coffee

Praise the Lord our household goods arrived a whole week early.
As many of you know we love our coffee so the first thing we unpacked was our coffee pots and mugs.  

Yes you read that correct, we have two coffee pots. 

See a whole pot is brewed at 5:30 in the morning and throughout the day
as we need a boost a single cup can be brewed with the Keurig.  

Sadly our mugs are on the top shelf but that may change as I figure out our kitchen.

I love the Mr's mug... Can you guess why???

It says "Her Better Half"! HA

It is a little chilly today (-10 degrees) so I think I will have a cup of tea thanks to the Keurig.

Alyeska Resort

Today we took a drive to the Alyeska Ski Resort and had lunch.

It was a beautiful day for a drive.  It snowed for most of the day but the Mr did a fantastic job at getting us to and from the resort. 
The 40 mile drive took us an hour to get there and 2 hours to get home because of the snow and white out conditions. 




Most of our drive was along the coast. 
The frozen ocean made it hard to believe in global warming.




We had lunch and coffee at the Alyeska Snow Resort. 
It was so nice to go on a date with the Mr.

On a boat...

All of our belongings are hopefully floating to Alaska
so the Mrs is having to get creative...

This morning the Mr made a pot of coffee before the sun came up. 
By the time the Mrs got around to drinking coffee the sun was up. 
If you know anything about Alaska you know the sun doesn't come up until like 10 am and the coffee was cold.  

Here is how you heat coffee when your microwave is on a boat:

Keys

Today we added a couple of keys to our key rings!!!

Yes that is right our home is now Alaska.  Our furniture is 2 to 3 weeks away but who needs furniture when you have a roof, heater, and washing machine.  

Best of all... We have a kitchen!

Driving in a Winter Wonderland

After 2 years and 5 months we got to put our communication skills to the test...

Many challenges were tossed our way
but we some how managed to make it out alive!

Packing...

The Challenge: Get 3 to 4 weeks worth of clothes, shoes, uniforms, makeup, jackets, snow boots, movies, XBOX 360, important documents, and med cabinet to fit in 5 suitcases.

The Solution: THE SPACE BAG

The End Result: Just "As Seen on TV"

Yes... All of the Mr's clothing, uniforms, and jackets fit in those two space bags.

I can't believe it!

Now we have to figure out how to get all of this to the plane!
