We are still recovering from being sick so we decided to lay low for one more weekend. We have spent the majority of the weekend watching movies and relaxing. Last night we went with some friends to see Safe House. We loved both the movie and the company however the Mr's arm is a bit sore from the death grip I had throughout all the action.

After driving on snow covered roads for the last 6 weeks we are excited to see they really do have paved roads with lines in Alaska. We were starting to wonder what we would see once all the snow and ice melted. We continue to find new things that amaze us such as the huge pot holes in the ice.
We are making progress shoveling the sidewalk in front with the help of the warmer temperatures (38 degrees today) and an ice pick. It was fun to see that we have a path and stairs down to the street / side walk.
